Story:

IT’S A BREAKTHROUGH! The “Beauty in the Eye of Health” survey has exceeded my goal of 300 survey responses just yesterday. (Thank you again Dr. Witschorik, Mrs. Abdelaziz, and Ms. Toews!) Late last night, I checked my SurveyMonkey account after receiving an email notifying me of 34 additional responses. I woke my mom up in the dead of night, attempting to infect her with my excitement. She congratulated me and convinced me to go to bed.

Analysis:

According to the data from the 345 responses collected thus far, the average teen feels equally attractive to his or her friends and fellow peers; however, the majority of teens feel less attractive than celebrities. Most teens are satisfied with themselves, believe they are people of worth, or are equally worthy as other teenagers. The majority of teens also wish to have more respect for themselves. The majority of teens believe they are a little larger than the desirable figure.
