Week 4: Preparations

Story:
For better or for worse, few survey responses have arrived in the past two weeks. As a result, I have been able to make several preparations for the upcoming phases of my project.
In the next two to three weeks, I will be sending emails to ask for more help with distributing the surveys. The email recipients will include schools that will help broaden the range of data (specifically the ethnicity and socioeconomic status.)
After finalizing the second survey with my advisor, I will be distributing it to school faculty and parents.
I have reached out to my outside mentor, Dr. Nguyen, and my onsite advisor's therapist friend. In addition to reading research papers and articles, I hope that my upcoming interviews will give me insight into teen psychology and recommended ways for coping with pressures from society's perception of beauty.
