Week 3: Changing Tide

Story:

During our "Senior Project Proposal Defense", our principal introduced the idea of having the teaching faculty take the "Beauty in the Eye of Health" survey to bring laughter into the room. Although it was not his intention, our principal gave an idea that struck a chord with me. Alongside the "Beauty in the original survey for teens, I would like to also conduct a similar survey for people 18 and older.

At the moment, I am working on obtaining the last 70 responses to meet my 300 responses goal and on approving my second survey draft. I hope everyone will look forward to the new set of data that will be analyzed in the coming three weeks!

Analysis:

According to the data from the 237 responses collected thus far, the average teen feels equally attractive to his or her friends and fellow peers; however, the majority of teens feel less attractive than celebrities. Most teens are satisfied with themselves, believe they are people of worth, or are equally worthy as other teenagers. The majority of teens also wish to have more respect for themselves. The majority of teens believe they are a little larger than the desirable figure.
