Story:
It had only been a little over a week since the "Beauty in the Eye of Health" survey was sent out to all BASIS sister schools and to friends. After the first 48 responses returning, I had expected to meet my 300 responses goal near the beginning of April when, lo and behold, the number of responses by February 24th had already exceeded 200!
Analysis:
According to the data from the 231 responses collected thus far, the average teen feels equally attractive to his or her friends and fellow peers; however, the majority of teens feel less attractive than celebrities. Most teens are satisfied with themselves, believe they are people of worth, or are equally worthy as other teenagers. The majority of teens also wish to have more respect for themselves. The majority of teens believe they are a little larger than the desirable figure.
